My dog. Corgi mixed with something, I’ve never been sure what.

Studio portrait of Rosco on a white stool against a black background, lit with a blue rim light, looking off to one side
Taken while my photography setup was still up. I got him to sit there for approximately eleven seconds before he jumped down and knocked the stool over.

I adopted him in July 2020, on less than 24 hours’ notice.

He grew into the satellite dishes he had for ears.

I’m typically terrible at coming up with good names. I think I crushed it with this one.

What about something to do with space? Space is cool. Oh, the Russians have cool names for their space stuff, like Roscosmos… Oh! Rosco!

He has a shake-you-to-your-bones bark and the softest coat of any dog I have ever met.

I love him a lot, even though he can be a challenging fluffball.
